  • .356"–1.281" diameter, lengths up to 36"
  • Counter rotation for concentricity
  • Deep-hole straightness and diameter control
  • Concentricity checks where bores stack up
  • Verification at depth/diameter features

Materials

Current steel examples we routinely quote for production work:

  • Steel 1215 (round & hex)
  • Steel 1018 (round & hex)

Other materials available on request.

Typical tolerances

We machine to print. For many CNC-machined features we commonly quote +/- 0.005 in (+/- 0.13 mm) where appropriate; call for tighter or critical features and we'll confirm capability, inspection method, and cost drivers.

  • Tolerances are quoted feature-by-feature, not assumed
  • Critical-to-function features get an inspection plan
  • GD&T and surface finish follow print requirements
  • If you have gage requirements, include them when quoting
